The Wings Powerpods are a welcome change from the plain jane earbuds we've been used to tar a tew yearS now, especially since the charging case also doubles up as a hackup power bank!The beautiful case is nice to touch and fits snugly into your palms. So whether you're attending Zoom calls while working from home or driving to work. because that boss of yours insists he's larger than the virus currently doing the rounds.
Easy peasy pairing
Right after a buttery smooth pairing process and a couple of calls later you realise how easy the PowerPods are to use. The blue light on the earpods give them a cool feel as well, and the switch between devices is a clean process. Calls are well received and the touch controls are easy to understand and responsive. It's when you switch to a song like Chris Brown's Look At Me Now that you feel the power Pods' incapacity to handle bass.

It's (not at) all about the bass.
It's when you switch to music you realise that in this decent concoction, the bass is a full tablespoon lesser than it should be. The jarring sound that suddenly takes over when a song demands balance is overwhelming and how. We simply got over this obstacle by avoiding listening to music altogether using the Power Pods.
Reveal the battery
It's a mix of good and bad, this onel While the lack of bass discouraged us from connecting the pods to watch Netflix and music, the LCD power display made us forgive its flaws. Now we've all had moments when we've been caught unaware by our true wireless earbuds' battery falling us in the middie of a call, but this one displays the battery first thing upon opening the case so you know how much of its otherwise 6 hour life is left for you to use. And that, dear friend, is a welcome feature for any wireless buds user.
Another plus in this other wise budget friendly hat is the USB port at the back of the Power Pods case that helps it double up as a 2500 mAh power bank. Though not much, we're sure you'd appreciate any capacity if you were caught in a situation you'd need even the slightest bit of extra juice you can on your smartphone.
